Terms of Service

Chatarooni pairs you with a random stranger for a text chat, lets you keep people you liked as friends, play games together, and watch YouTube videos together. It's free. By using it you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, don't use it.

You must be at least 18 years old. Anonymous chat with strangers is not a place for minors, and we remove accounts we believe belong to them.

Don't use Chatarooni to:

• harass, threaten, or hate on people
• share sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance, reported to authorities)
• spam, advertise, or run scams
• impersonate someone else
• post anything illegal where you or we operate
• scrape, automate, flood, or otherwise attack the service or other users

We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, without notice.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree not to share content or engage in behavior that is offensive, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable. You can report or block the other person at any time from the in-chat menu; blocking immediately hides their messages and removes any friendship between you.

Reports go to our moderation system. We review them and remove objectionable content and suspend or ban the responsible user, typically within 24 hours. Serious violations may result in immediate removal from the service.

What you write is yours. You give us the limited right to store and transmit it so the service works. See the privacy policy.

We don't verify anyone's identity. Don't share personal information (your address, financial details, passwords) with people you meet here, and treat claims from strangers with appropriate suspicion.

Videos are played through the embedded YouTube player and come from YouTube, not us. YouTube's own terms apply to playback.

The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause, or shut down features (or the whole service) at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of Chatarooni or from the conduct of other users.

We may update these terms; the date at the top reflects the latest version, and continuing to use the service means you accept the changes. Questions: support@chatarooni.com.
