Indian video chat
with strangers
Free Indian video chat with no sign-up. Talk to strangers across India 1v1 in a random video chat, with the camera on only when you are both ready.
Free · No sign-up · Starts in one tap
More than a webcam
Warm up by text, then see each other when you both choose.
Camera on your terms
No live webcam the second you arrive. You start by typing, and video only goes on when both of you agree. We ask for your camera and mic first, so nothing catches you off guard.
It stays between you two
Video goes straight browser to browser, not through a server that keeps it. Chats are anonymous, with no account or phone number needed to start.
Keep the ones you click with
Hit it off on camera? One tap sends a friend request and you get a lasting thread, so you can pick the call back up another day.
Indian video chat FAQ
Is Indian video chat free?
Yes, completely. No subscription, no paywall, no premium tier. Video is not a paid add-on.
Do I need to sign up?
No account, email, or phone number needed. Hit start and you can chat, then start a video call, right away.
Do I have to turn my camera on?
Never by default. Chatarooni is text-first, so you start by typing. Video only happens when both people choose to start it, and we ask permission for your camera and mic first.
Will I be matched with people from India?
Matching is random, so you will meet people from across India and the rest of the world. Open in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, or English and you will quickly find others who speak it.
Can I video chat in my own language?
Yes. There is no language setting to pick - type in whatever you and your match share, and turn the camera on when you both want to.
Is random video chat safe?
Safer when it is opt-in and 18+, which is how this is built. Stay anonymous, keep personal details out of frame, and skip freely if a chat feels off.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in any mobile browser with nothing to install, and you can add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
Is this like Omegle or OmeTV?
Same idea of meeting a random stranger on video, but text-first instead of camera-first, plus friends you can keep, videos to watch together, and games to play.
